Cormac McLaggen, with his freshly cut blonde hair, smirked from near the blazing fire of the common room. His blue eyes where locked on one thing and one thing only. No, it wasn’t his book that he was absently turning pages in without reading, but it was the saucy little minx in front of him. Hermione Granger had grown up over the summer, so much that he wanted a piece of her himself. His rosy lips pouted out, letting a small chuckle escape.
“Granger”, he said, his deep voice penetrating the room that they were in. Of course, most of everyone had went along to see the match against Slytherin and Hufflepuff. But Cormac, being who he was opted to stay back. The cold bursting upon his face didn’t do well for his delicate features. “Hows about you make room for me near you. After all, we couldn’t sit on opposite ends of the room, just the two of us. I’m qute”, he said as he licked his lips. “Bored.”

Unlike Cormac, the book Hermione held had her attention completely. She was studying, as she often did, while Ron and Harry were off watching the Quidditch match...just like everyone else it seemed. At the sound of her name, the curly haired girl's head shot up quickly. No one else was in the room, and considering he was looking at her, it wasn't hard to determine who it was.
"Cormac..." She muttered, rolling her eyes. He was devilishly cute, quite the heartthrob, but he wasn't very good at getting her skirt up. "How many times must I tell you? With those lines you'll never have a chance..."

Cormac smirked, curling just one corner of his rosy lips upward. He knew he was getting into her skin, just a couple of more instances and he’d be set. With that said, he closed his book and sauntered over to Hermione. The book was just resting protectively between his arm and his body as he sat down. “First names now, Hermione?” He fully turned his body to face her at this point. “I’m wearing you down.”
His free arm now laid on the back of her chair, already as close as he could to her. There was just something about that this bookworm that made him want to worm into her. “You know”, he said, his tone of voice just dripping of seduction. “I like how you say my name”, he went on, brushing his thumb with her arm gently.

With a repulsed roll of her eyes, Hermione shrugged her shoulder in attempts to get his arm off of her. It didn't work. It never did. One of these days he was likely to get what he wanted. Specially since all Ron could do was snog Lavender. Really? What was so great about that little twit anyways? She was so much better than that stalker...
"I say everyone's name like that, don't feel special." She turned her attention back to her studies, turning a page. Maybe if she ignored him he'd go away.

Cormac cleared his throat and stretch in his seat, looking around before turning his eyes to Hermione’s direction once again. He knew no one could resist his attempts, that he was just going to wear her down enough. “Oh but Hermione”, he said again, moving his arm right back to wrap around her shoulders. One of his perfect eyebrows raised and he licked his lips once again. “You don’t say Weasley’s name like that. How’s he and the hyper one?”

That struck a nerve. Hermione huffed, slamming the book shut in her lap. He just had to bring up Ron and 'Lav Lav' didn't he? Like he knew it got to her or something. "Why would I say Ron's name like that? Assuming I said your name differently at all..." In the middle of defending her crush on one of her best friends, Hermione had managed to fall into his trap without realizing it.
